does anyone know anything about the tax credits review as i have had a letter too and I don't know what it is about

You should call the number on the letter, not the regular helpline number, as they will review your details.

It's nothing to worry about if you haven't had any reason to call them.

There may be a whole load of different reasons why TCO get in contact.

If they are just looking for some information they will send a TC664 letter asking you to reply.

The review letters at the moment are coming out to people who havent been in contact for qute some time. Before they send a letter they will try calling, however it's not possible to call everyone because most people dont think to update their phone number with TCO when they change numbers.

TCO want to make sure al your details are still up to date and if not they want to get the details corrected and/or updated.

I had one on Thursday.

Called the number.

They double checked my employers details, working hours, pay, childcare providers and amounts I pay for childcare.

They are probably taking this stance now, so that they cant be accidentally overpaying people who have forgotten to inform them of a change of circumstances.

I received this letter as well last Saturday and called them today. They checked my wages, hours I work and child care as well. He said it is to ensure I am getting the right amount of money.

Did anyone receive any letters or revised credit award after calling the Tax Credit Review Team? Reason I ask is that the advisor told me that there would be one but when he said he can't say much about it.

did you get a revised crdit award ? i think there are different letters for different things by the sounds of it some saying you havnt been in touch for a while and some saying get in touch just to check details are up to date

Just to let you know I received a letter from them this morning asking me to give them a call. I don't know why but I was worried. Just spoke to a guy, the call lasted about 6 minutes and they just confirmed my work details and my partners plus the childcare I was receiving and our contact details.

He said it was a customer service thing and they needed to make sure peoples details were OK. Nothing to worry about at all (I hope!). If I hear anything back from the call I will let you know.

Hi i have had another letter from the tax credit review team but this one came from leicester i only updated my claim in june cant get through to the number on the letter has anyone else had one of these as i am getting a bit stressed by it all.
