I have also used them over the years and have only just transferred a fixed rate Cash ISA from them to another provider's product, paying 6.5%, because the JHB rate dropped to 6.2%.I used Julian Hodge a couple of years ago, I think the main office is in Cardiff, they have seemed to have good rates, but haven't used them recently as its all done by post, that was ok a couple of years ago, but nowadays I want as much as possible internet accessible. Saying that I've always found their customer service to be good.
I have always found their CS to be excellent.0 -
Thanks, Schoolmaster, but apart from the "Fixed" rates, how do we know whether they'll reduce rates? or have you factored this in?0

Hopefully the Coventry BS Poppy Bond 6.25% will stay, just applied, Ill see what it says when set up before I transfer money. Not the top of the pile rate, but at least I already have a current account with them plus they put money to the Poppy appeal.0

If you're an oldie, Saga have a 1 year fixed at 6.35% (6.17% monthly) and an instant aceess account currently on 6.04% variable (averages the top 5 internet instant access accounts, so likely to be going down real soon now...).0

Not all deals are on the emoneyfacts list, for some reason:
Birmingham Midshires 6.60% fixed - one year
Birmingham Midshires 6.97% fixed - 6 month
Birmingham Midshires ISA 6.15% fixed - one year
HSBC Regular Saver 8% fixed - up to £250 per month
(must open their current account advance & fund w/ £500 per month, but easy to apply online)I want to move to theory. Everything works in theory.0 -
