    This is fairly typical phishing scam. If you look at the link, it will look somewhat realistic - they tend to buy domains like "abbeyebanking.com" to try and trick people into revealing personal details.

    Abbey would appreciate it if you forward this to phishing@abbey.com to try and help them crack down on this sort of crime.

    Also if was your bank they would refer to you using your full name and not just Dear Abbey Customer or Dear Valued Customer .
    My rule is if your really worried or even slightly aware ...ring your bank and ask them what it is about.

    Please NEVER reply to your bank through email
    If you dont ask you dont get!!
