I think I've got all birthdays covered for the coming year now (and possibly christmas) thanks to this thread! This afternoon I managed to get 4 x Ginger Jars cont. choc gingers for £1.38 each, several of the alcohol gift sets for between £2.50 and £3.50, several No7 sets for between £2.50 and £3.75 and a few other items priced no more than £3.50! Of course I got some more TD hand creams (that stuff is fab!) and a couple of items with extra points, pure soap 39p on BOGOF (still giving 150 points) and 100 extra points on boots alternatives (my store had several products reuced to 74p - £1.00 on clearance shelf). I didn't think of using the 300 extra points voucher with the skin care set but will try that if I come across another!

A quick question though - does anyone know if the £1.50 off T&G Wax stick or taming serum works with the 2 for £7.00? Thanks!

Just been to a store to find a whole isle cleared by staff. Anyway, still managed to pick up 3 items for £11....worth £40 in total before Xmas. When my online stuff arrives my grand total will be £100 worth of stuff for only £25. Not bad for a day's work.

I splashed out on some of the more expensive DR stuff today, as I thought it would make nice presents.

I got a couple of the £15 items, so that cost me £10 and I got the £5 No7 voucher, with which I bought a No7 Summer Eyes collection - £20 reduced to £5, so free!! So that was £50-worth of stuff for a tenner!

Did that 3 times with various different items between £8 and £15, and also bought loads of the reduced Christmas stuff, including cards at only 50p and tights reduced from £5 to £1.00 and 3for2 (so cost me £2 instead of £15) - spent £39 and came away with almost £300-worth of stuff!!!!

There's not much stuff left at my Boots (no TD under about £9), so will venture further afield later on this week. The assistant told me someone used 17 of the vouchers all at once yesterday - she thought it was great!

Also, there was a fresh supply of the leaflets out this afternoon.

Don't forget to split your shopping so that you get a £5 voucher back for each £10 you spend. The last time this was on I was horrified  to spot someone spending £50 on several items and so she received just one voucher, she had already put them through or I would have pointed it out to her.

Yes - that's exactly what i did. The thing I love about Boots is that the staff are always thrilled that you're getting a bargain.

  • i must say a big thank you to the original poster - i have managed to get about 20 td items now from a variety of stores - got some reduced ones today which come with a free face cloth thing

got some brill gift sets too - £3.25 for a Gordons gin gift set and £2 for a set of 3 really nice wine bottle stoppers

one thing ive noticed though - adv point machines in different stores seem to give you different vouchers. i was offered an essential ingredients voucher in wrexham plas coch store tonight but didnt get it this afternoon in boots oswestry - weird!

  • at my store in bury every day indulgence body creams were reduced to £1.49, so using the 150 points voucer youre getting a penny back- watch out fo rthis as the sales lady told me that everyday indulgence has done really badl;y and it will all be sold off soon.

  • must admit pushed my luck today in boots, usualy i split the TD stuff up into 2-3 lots and go to diff counters but was pushed for time toady and the shop was mad, put 6 items through with vouchers, SA not happy and said ..."but that means we give you £30 worth of stuff for free" i agreed and said wasnt it a good deal!!!! and pointed out there were no limits to how many each customer could have :p
she went to check and manager yes no problem!!!!haha took the condisending smile off her face, seems to me its the younger SA who dont like giving stuff away, the older ones at teesside park have always been brill with me !!

some more stock in TD put out at teesside park today inc face wipes (i did leave some)!!!!

  • I went into boots today and got loads of the reduced No7 gift sets.

I also got No7 summer eyes collection £20 reduced to £5 and 2x No7 summer nails collection £12 reduced to £3. Whilst at the till I noticed that they came up as 3 for the price of 2.

So I went straight back and got 3 more of the nail sets (it didnt say 3 for 2 on the shelf). I used the No7 voucher I had just been given and the No7 concentrates 300 points voucher. I paid £1 for £36 worth of stuff and got 300 points. I was very pleased!!

Is there any good bargains online? I've had a look but maybe missing something? :rotfl:
