Got a hand cream and a cleanser. Also got two £8.49 DRyman hand kits, paid £3.49 as it is on BOGOF. This is the kit: http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1064553 Thanks to the person who mentioned these.
Picked up some leaflets so got 9 to use. I only got the three items today because I didnt want to push my luck! xStudent MoneySaving Club member 017!0 -
Also got the Pure bath range voucher and picked up 2 body wash £1.99 on bogof & points voucher (im sure it said 100 points but seem to have received 150?)
I am glad that it has happened to someone else and not just me.
I remembered that last time the points coupon worked on the soap as well for 39p. So I took one soap to the till and my 100 points voucher. The lady said it was BOGOF - well it didnt say on the shelf edge. So I got two soaps for 39p and 150 points! Well pleased. I also tried this in another samll Boots and the same happened! (This Boots has no machine so its worth printing off extra coupons if you are doing a Boots tour!)
So 4 soaps for 78p and 304 points!
I have 4 cards and I tried them in two machines in the two bits of our Boots but could not get the Pure voucher again.
Wonder if it will reappear tommorow?

Did a Boots tour today and got lots of Time Delay........left plenty on shelves for other MSE'rs ! In the Church Street Branch in Liverpool, lots of the Time Delay was reduced to £3.50 and £2.50 and the small gift bags were £4.99....hence all free!! Male assistant was really pleasant and put through 5 for me. Plenty left on the shelves!
Visited another couple of Boots on the way home and got some free face wipes.....all in all a good days haul! Still plenty of TD stuff on the shelves in Clayton Square.
I've never been in Boots so much in my life since I joined MSE!0 -
I used the vouchers on Time Delay today, 2 at a time 4 times in the same store. Only once did I encounter a 'jobsworth'. She started to say the offer wasn't for Time Delay, it was DR, time delay. I said that there wasn't any such product and she pointed out that, if my transaction had gone through.......................I wouldn't have paid for it!!!! Shock horror!
So I went to another till and it went through fine.
I managed to get 4 Facial pamper kits reduced from £9.99 to £4.99. 4 Firming face masks reduced from £9,50 to £4.75. And of course picked up another handful of the leaflets on the way out.
I also got some reduced make up products at 50p & 70p each, the silver gift bags at 15p each and an 'Easy.com' mens wash bag with toiletries, reduced from £7.50 to £2.50, with a £1 off voucher from the advantage machine, so £1.50 each. Should have bought more of them.
All this stuff was upstairs in Lewisham branch, upstairs.
I think this offer will be nipped in the bud before the month comes to an end!Oh well...........keep coming for the time being...........

Redcar Boots has lots of the "look great" leaflets, just inside the front doors. They only have a small stock of the Time Delay and do not stock Daniele Ryman. I picked up three of the Time Delay wipes (bright pink pack) on 3 for 2 and paid £3. They didnt have any hand cream. Is this range being discontinued? It seems madness to have £5 off AND have them on 3 for 2.0

Today I purchased2 x pure soap and got 302 points on a 39 pence spend with coupon for 150 points from the machine. The pure soaps were bogof although I did not realise this at the time and the assistant asked me to go and get another which I thought was very nice of her. No wipes left though on TDelay.0

Bought 3 time delay wipes in Hemel Hempstead today, but realised when I got home that the £5 off voucher was in the bag and hadn't been scanned. Before MSE I would have said "Oh, well.." but I decided that £5 wasa worth pursuing. Went to another branch, (nearer) and explained, the SA handed me over to a really stroppy supervisor who was adamant that the voucher wasn't valid except on the two products photographed on the voucher. I was apologetic but firm, eventually offering to buy another 3 packs to prove it would go through. She huffed off and got some TD products to prove to me they wouldn't go through. Of course they did, so she (even more huffily) handed me over to a young SA to do a refund and run it through again with the voucher, and stalked off.
The SA put the refund through and handed me £12 instead of £8. I felt very bad, and confessed their mistake immediately, but she just smiled and said "That's how it's going through the till", with the implication that it wasn't worth my or her while to call the supervisor again. She then ran the wipes through, charged me £3 and I left (very quickly!!!)0
