    a flu jab won't stop a cold.

I worked in the NHS for 8 years and got one each year they were offered.

They are a good idea if you are in a vulnerable group of people , either age or condition related (or front line NHS staff), so they would be free from your GP (ie - you need it rather than 'want' it)

Not quite sure why a pharmacist would be more 'professional' than a GP or practice nurse at administering a simple jab, but there you go!!!

I have the same problem. Unfortunately there's no jab for Man Flu.

  • It wont stop the flu but it will ease the symptoms of getting it really bad.

Where is the evidence to show that the flu jab works? Who needs mercury and other toxins to ease symtoms ? The symptoms are probably necessary normal human functions designed to get the bad stuff out.

I would rather ensure that my immune system is in good shape and my diet not deficient of vital nutrients.

I would sack the doctor, then find out what a load of powerful organic fruits and vegetables and some regular exercise can do for you.

I have had one for free at my GP,s surgery for years no questions asked , and I have someway to go before I reach 65 !, they hold flue jab clinics every Sat. in October and you just go along and grab one.
Never pay more than you have too
  • as above im not of age to qualify but if you ask at the doctors and they have some over you will get one free.
my bark is worse than my bite!!!!!!!!
  • Just beware that if you have certain allergies, they cannot give you the flu jab.
I am allergic to egg and, even though I am asthmatic, they cannot give me the flu jab
