Which City Break???

Fancy going away on a city break in the new year, maybe for 3 days. So just a short one.

Have already done Dublin, Madrid, Barcelona, Milan and Prague, so would prefer somewhere different. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions?

There will be 4 of us going, so two double rooms, no idea if that will make any difference whatsoever with people's suggestions, just thought I'd add it anyway :)

Cheers in advance.

  • I like Amsterdam.
  • Missed that off my list as well, cheers for the reminder :) Been there too, so anywhere but:
    Amsterdam
    Barcelona
    Dublin
    Madrid
    Milan
    Prague

    Just to complicate matters :)

Venice is wonderful - highly recommended. I know a cheap but nice hotel if you're interested, on the island of Lido about 10 minutes from Piazza San Marco by waterbus. Ryanair do cheap flights to Venice.

The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.
  • What about looking on Ryanair/easyjet and going wherever the cheapest flight is going! thats what I did and Im off to Rome in 2 weeks! What about Germany before it gets took over by world cup fever!
If i helped in any way feel free to press thanks !

  • Always fancied Florence, but know that the flights can tend to be expensive to Italy.

Would be looking to travel from Manchester Airport as well
