I went to the Boots in Manchester Arndale last year and it was soooo busy, seriously sale shoppers get crazy...me being one of them I would do it online this year but i've got vouchers so i'll have to grin and bear it. Can't wait actually!! Love grabbing a bargain!

I love reading about all the offers you all get...I work for Avon so can't really justify buying loads of stuff from boots but I do love the sale!

ACM Machine - how many 100pts on the metallic eye pencil / umberto gianni products do you usually get? I thought it was two but I pressed the button quickly and ended up with three of each.

It's usually 50% off the 342 gifts and 33% off perfume gift sets. I've only been once on the 1st day (last year) and it wasn't crowded, the SAs were still bringing new things out from the stock room throughout the day as well.

I think I must have been spoilt by doing the 75% off sale this year, I now don't get excited about a bargain from anywhere unless it is 75% off or more

Oooh am getting all excited about tomorrow - first time I have been shopping without the girls! They are quite good at swiping things off shelves as you go past and being two of them in a double buggy you are closer to the stock - usually have to frisk the pushchair before going out of the doors:rolleyes: it was ok when they were little and slept- kept the sa's busy coo-ing over them while I shopped - now I have little monsters the sa's will do everything they can to get rid of me quickly:rotfl:

The acm in my local boots went a bit loopy with the metallics 100 pointers I got 6 from one machine and then another 4 from another. It also appeared twice in a single session on my offers??!! not complaining mind you:D


Has anyone got the 250 points from the no7 gwp to work yet - I've tried it on 3 seperate transactions and it didn't want to to scan. The SA offered to get the manager to manually add the points:eek: - said not to worry as I'd probably be buying more no7 before the expiry date and scuttled out!

I got the GWP when buying the half price no7 manicure thing (think it's electrical) but i don't think I should have got it in all honesty, the sa was a sweety and didn't seem too sure whether i should be able to get it or not, but she did try and i got it... also used a pinky.

Boxing day is usually 50% off but the 342 is not still on. it goes to 75% off around mid of jan and then to 90% off around the start of Feb
