Hey all not been Bootsing since the pinkies finished. Didn't manage to get the star pallet highlighter and had a bad day with the ss tills so bit fed up. Waiting for my xmas vouchers to come through before I make another trip. Hoping to get the quattro razors soon. want to build up some points seen as though I have none so I can treat myself for Xmas. Any ideas? xxx0

OFF TOPIC: I don't think TESCO take vouchers anymore. Used some a few weeks ago. Tried again this week, store managers and everyone came along, but would not allow me to use it unless I purchased the product. Tried pouting, but still did not work. Decided to stamp my foot a la Mariah Carey, but that made no difference, so said "stuff your flaming kitchen cleaner, I ain't interested" and bounced off in a diva like strop!0 -
Off topic: Its varying from store to store with Tescos at mo....will find link to thread0

I realise that others have given you some good advice moneysaver12, but the last thing I'd do is ask for any points in relation to 'bad' service. When I complained to CS once, I was so fed up of the attitude of a small minority of SAs in our larger store, that I specifically asked CS not to give me any extra points, and that I'd rather have a better quality of service - like good manners etc - than points. It actually had the reverse effect and I did get points added, but I'd far rather have seen an improvement in staff training than points.
If I was you, I'd draft a letter, not an email, and run it by a poster on here that you know you can trust (not in the main forum, by PM), as the less you say publicly from now on, the better it seems imho. I'm sure by what you've already posted that Boots have 'marked' your card, so catalogue everything that's happened to you in the last few months and get it down in writing whilst it's all still fresh in your memory.
I'm seriously considering writing another mail myself, about the same small minority of SAs that are guaranteed to make what should be a pleasant day's shopping into a chore. Boots might think that you're only one person, but you're also one person that can influence how others reading this forum can see how Boots and Boots CS are treating certain shoppers. And in your case, although there's only one side to it so far, it all seems pretty shabby.
But get those points spent asap.
Good luck.
Thankyou for your support and help, i will do that.Married 09/09/090 -
Firstly can I ask what happened in May?
Secondly, this is getting out of hand and scary now. Some Boots staff seem to think they are Mr Boots themselves
How dare they treat you like this, where has people's tact gone
You must feel horrible, I know from reading your posts today I feel terrible for you so big hugs for you.
xxxx

MONEYSAVER12, good for you sweetheart. Glad you used a lot of your points. You should have taken me with you, we could have cleaned the store out!
I've managed to spend about £70 worth of points and now only have £90 left. Go me! Think I am going to do some more retail therapy tomorrow, not that there is any need for therapy. Was going to take my nephew too, but surprise surprise, he has pulled out again.
Tried using one of those glam Wilkinson Sword Quattro Titanium wotsits and managed to cut my face about 20 times. No wonder they are handing these out dead cheap! Mind you, I've never been good at shaving. Back to Gillette for me.
Anyway, a bit of a thick question. Is the Soap and Glory stuff meant to be for women or are men allowed to use it too? I do have quite dry skin as of late, and after reading the information on the pots and tubes and what not, I think it would quite work for me. I've tried Johnsons and Nivea and you name it, nothing seems to work for me. Thing is Soap and Glory smells OTT and very floral/ladylike, I don't want to smell like a butterfly princess. Shall I or shall I not? LOL.
Thankyou for your support, i should have taken you with me. aww bless at your shaving. I think that men can use it too, point spending is good, sounds like you had a good shopping trip.Married 09/09/090 -
