moneysaver12 that is terrible.
I used to get treated very susspiciously sometimes when i had loads of vouchers to spend like the ones you get when you spend a fiver.
There is no way boots should treat you like this and i am not suprised you are spending there points before they take em off ya.0 -
Just called CS to make sure the re-order I did this morning had gone through, as .com hasn't changed the order status from processing to despatched, to be told it hasn't yet been despatched and may or may not turn up in time for tomorrow
If it doesn't turn up tomorrow, seeing as I have already had one order not turn up, what should I do guys?
The woman from CS says there's nothing they can do at the moment, as it still might turn up tomorrow...I am so annoyed with naff .com service!! PAH!!Treasurer and Co Founder of - The Smile It Won't Hurt Club

Honestly, it's horrible treatment you've been getting and this must be very upsetting, but there's nothing you can do but stop going in that store as Boots won't help and this doesn't seem the kind of thing you could make a complaint with a higher authority about or launch a lawsuit over. I think this is the same place where you've had jaw-droppingly awful experiences repeatedly, and my only advice each time has been to just stop going there, and I still can't think of a better solution. It's so unfair, and they're in the wrong, but they're wrong in a way that's hard to fight, and you're really just torturing yourself by going in there. They suck; don't give them the pleasure of being rude to you.
I know some people have kept telling you to call CS, but that seriously doesn't work for everyone and it sure looks like CS isn't going to help. As I've seen over the many months reading this thread and from conversations with some people, repeatedly calling CS actually causes problems because CS may say that person has a history of complaining and therefore won't help anymore. Those who've had good luck with CS will offer calling them as a cure-all to every problem, but I'm telling ya, it doesn't seem a wise course of action for everyone. Sorry to go on so long, but I just hate seeing you get kicked around by a few a**holes.
Edit: just saw your last post, looks like you've already decided to wash your hands of that awful store. Good for you!
Edit again: I spent too long writing that post, missed your one where they are launching an investigation! Yikes!0 -

Don't blame you for spending your points, I'd definitely want shot of those ASAP.
Maybe a strongly worded letter in writing to someone high up in Boots might help you feel a tiny bit better? It might not change anything, but it might help you to vent a little? You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

Thankyou for your support, you are right it is a waste of time speaking to cs, he even said on the phone we have to support our stores when i said you believe them and not what i say. I have phoned superdrug to enquire about getting my scripts there and i can do that, so tomorrow my oh is going to go with me to that store and get my script as its due tomorrow and then i will take the repeat one to superdrug and avoid that store.
Forgot to say the store manager has just phoned me back as i phoned the store to speak to her before i had the phone call back from cs, and she knew nothing about it, so goodness knows who they have spoken to in the store. She said as far as she was aware it had been solved.Married 09/09/090 -

MONEYSAVER12, really sorry to hear about how you have been treated. It's absolutely horrendous. If I were you, I would never set foot in that store. Which store is it if you don't mind me asking? If it's one that I go to, I will stop going too. You can pm me if you want honey.
Don't ask for the extra points if I were you, just don't go to the store ever again.
On my BOOTS adventures, I have found that some SA's are just nasty trolls, and it's best to stay as far away from them as possible. There is one in my local store who EVERYONE is scared of going to, including all the ladies at work.
And I wouldn't keep ringing CS if I were you, as I am sure they have a record of how many times people have called and how many times extra points have been awarded to them.
Anyway, big hugs to you and hope you get things sorted. Blitz your points so if they do cancel your card (go to the Hudds store and clean out all the S+G mini sets), you can say "tits to you cos I ain't got no points left" and then do a major pout even if it is just on the phone!0 -

Also i don't even get any offers through the post. Spoke to a manager who told me that the store manager had said that i was imitimdaing towards the staff at that store and if there was anymore problems then i would be banned from boots. I have never been imitimadating. He said he is going to speak to the store manager. Where do i go from here.
It sounds like they have regarded you asking for points as compensation as one step too far, really. I'm not commenting on the justice of your original complaint because I really can't remember the details but my advice is to accept the complaint has been discussed with the staff and then back off quietly clutching your points card while it still holds all the points on it. Then go and spend them at another Boots asap.
No it's probably not fair but once things get to this stage then who else is there to complain to? You're not actually entitled to anything other than an apology and refund of any money lost. Points are a freebie, a bonus and remain the property of Boots at all times. You never actually own them so you can't sue in any way to get them given to you in a transaction (or as compensation.)Val.0 -
