I'm missing a purple and blue metallic eyeliner from my collection!
Mrs BTVB - shall I keep an eye out for a purple one for you?

    ;)
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

I still haven't seen the purple No7 metallic pencil in the flesh so to speak, not even a tester...what shade of purple is it roughly?

I bought the purple one the other day ready to wear on Sat night but was disappointed with it. It looks like a lovely deep aubergine coloured pencil but when I put it on it just looked brown. I even asked my friend whether it was just me but she had a go and it looked the same on her. Was gutted because I used my last pinkie on it as well!

I quite fancy one of those Lumie alarm clocks. Boots.com won't tell me when any of the Guernsey shopping nights are -ggrrr. Are most stores having one this thursday? The website is showing 500 points at the moment, 1000 on points night, would the £2 bluie work? Any other deals I'm missing?

    Many Thanks!!

Please could you confirm for me how many blades it comes with?

Can anyone please tell me what's in the S&G GWP? Tried looking on the Boots site but it's playing silly beggers with me and keeps timing out. Thanks!

    Hi Mrs BTVB
I'd call it more aubergine than purple, but still very nice. My fave shade is the blue one though, have already got one plus a 'spare' and a green one - not sure whether to get the gold one too :D.

Hiya ruth honey - there's nothing in the current S&G GWP - it's just an empty gift bag, something to put S&G items in if you were going to give it as a present.....

  • Flipping forum has gone la la! It won't let me quote tonight for some reason

Thank you RedBalloon for the kind offer :) I'm planning on waiting until pay day at the end of the month to get it then (along with some other stuff to use up some vouchers), but appreciate the offer of assistance muchly anyway :D

Thanks everyone for the eyeliner comments, interested to hear about it looking brown - I'll team it with purple eyeshadow anyway but will bear it in mind when buying it :)

Speaking of Dior - did anyone else get the free sample of Dior Iconic Mascara a couple of months ago? I LOVED it! :heart2: :heart2: :heart2:

Still haven't justified spending £18.50 on the full sized one though but it's one of the best mascaras I've ever used! I managed to get 2 samples but gave one away to a friend - typical, I always seem to give away my best stuff, doh! :rotfl:

Might treat myself at the next Christmas event, but am I right in thinking I only get the Xmas event points if I pay in cash?

Yeah! I managed to grab one of these mascara`s with the voucher, and must say i love it, and funny enough, i found another 2 vouchers in my stash the other day so whilst i was in there, i sent my DD (14) over to the stand to see if they had any more with a voucher, and luckily enough, the lady SA gave her one and said it was the last one.... It wasnt until i got home and looked at the other voucher that i noticed it was actually out of date!
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
