If you order from a rep that drops a brochure through your door its £10 in brochure 18 (one with a Xmas tree on the front)

As you say, this is a great deal if you're bed is a way away from a plug socket, but with all those LED's every morning I'm not sure how long the batteries will last for........

Maybe worth finding out if it will take rechargeable ones?

"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

Speaking of Dior - did anyone else get the free sample of Dior Iconic Mascara a couple of months ago? I LOVED it! :heart2: :heart2: :heart2:

Still haven't justified spending £18.50 on the full sized one though but it's one of the best mascaras I've ever used! I managed to get 2 samples but gave one away to a friend - typical, I always seem to give away my best stuff, doh! :rotfl:

Might treat myself at the next Christmas event, but am I right in thinking I only get the Xmas event points if I pay in cash?
Nope (boo hoo) tried several different Boots, JL etc but Nada!

i am testing the veet wax strips for a survey company and you rub the strips in your hand to warm them up they dont hurt that much (and i'm a wuss) and there isn't any mess although sometimes it leaves a few stray hairs

I never liked using those strips, they are obviously less messy than using heated wax but i found they didn't lift very much hair in one go. I started using an epilator earlier this year (paid for by points;) ) and swear by it now. Its painful the first few times (the underarms being the most sore), but if you're brave enough to stick with it the pain is comparable to waxing but its a lot easier and quicker.

When it comes to waxing the best home wax product i came across is actually body shops sugar waxing. The fabric wax strips you use with it are fab as well. Plus the wax now comes in a roll on version which would be a lot less messy and easier to use. Sorry for being off topic but thought this might help as i used to waste a fortune going through different products to find out which worked best. x

I don't know for certain if it works, but typically the 5 quid mailing voucher for electrical items recognizes the price before the item was discounted. So it should work, but there are no guarantees. If you only want the hairdryer if you can get the 5 quid off, then if the voucher doesn't work you can always tell the SA you don't want it. If you are trying to hit 50 quid for the bonus points on a shopping evening, remember that you have to spend 50 *after* boots vouchers have been deducted. hth
  • For anyone still trying to track down the limited edition No7 xmas make up... the Milton Keynes store (in thecentre:mk) had good stock of the entire range, apart from the starry eyeshadow but they had at least 8 highlighting star palettes on display today :D
