why do kids love olives??

My two year old loves olives and branston pickle. He eats branston just on its own and I have to limit the amount I let him have. Kids also tend to like pickled onions. ??? Perhaps it's just the sharp taste that they like?

Mind you, I did have a craze on branston pickle when I was pregnant....... ;D

i had a carving for branstan and coleslaw, and all my kids love the stuff. ;D

I suppose to cut down on the sodium one can wash the olives first before eating.

my son is nine months old ....he loves olives!! especially the fresh ones marinated in coriander, garlic and peppers!!!!!!
