I've got the cineworld unlimited card £12 per month (and your not tied into a contract)
My girlfriend and i go every wednesday and she used the Orange 2-4-1 code.
text "FILM" to "241" from any orange phone and you get a code you take when your buyin your tickets.
so for my £12 per month me and my girlfriend go once a week.
she buys some popcord from the supermarket and takes it in her bag and we take some supermarket 2-4-1 (or promo) coke decanted into wee bottles.
it's a cheap night out for us. maybe £3 each all in.
i feel like the worlds biggest cheapskate reading that back lol but it's desperate measures like those above that mean we can go to paris in a couple weeks lol :TSmile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -

We always do and it's Cineworld we go to as well. I have a big handbag, the kids have pockets. I've never seen anyone stopped and searched before.0 -
Our local Vue cinema scrapped their cheap rate at w/ends which is such a shame as we're early birds and like seeing the first showing on Sunday morning. They've also introduced compulsory bag checks but didn't seem to bother checking us, since we'd bought food from the concession stand. £35 for 3 tickets, 2 drinks and a hotdog! I'm so glad I wasn't paying!!
We're both huge film fanatics but it's just too pricey to go more than once a monthCan't do Orange Wednesdays or weekday viewings as we work shifts. So now it's down to borrowing the DVD from the library or friends.

I love going to the cinema but must admin I don't go half as much now and if I do I always try to go earlier as the tickets are cheaper then. I love getting snacks there too but can cost you £10 just for them! Think happy & you'll be happy
I :heart2: my doggies

the cinema tickets are different prices at different times of the day due to supply and demand.
it may seem unfair but it's a business!!! take advantage of the cheaper tickets at late/early showings if you can. or go on wednesdays!0 -

Hide them
The old cinema where I grew up was like that and we used to hide our drinks and sweets.
The local cinema near me is expensive. £10 a ticket for the evening or £7.80 during the day! Needless to say I don't go there very often! We can't even do Orange Wednesdays now as my brother doesn't use his Orange phone anymore
I can use Nectar points to get a free cinema ticket and the Vue. 1000 Nectar points for an off-peak showing, which means it's worth £7.80, rather than the £5 if you spent it at Argos/Sainsburys. Much more value!0 -

I remember taking a 2 litre bottle of cheap lemonade into the cinema once! That was fun.
Although I did buy an Ice Blast from there!0 -
We went Sat night to QofS - two adults - cost £19 (plus £50 for dinner before:eek:)
We went Wed night to see HSM3 one adult, 3 children - cost £19 (plus £25 for dinner at Pizza Hut  )
Same cinema!
Obviously Wed was much cheaper compartively ... but for the total cost of two evenings, we could have bought a bloomin' new telly!!!
So, so expensive to go out to the cinema - but again, have to say, both nights the place was heavingly full, so the business is obviously there.
(PS. we always take own drinks / sweets ... even if we have just eaten!!)0
