hi,
basically been with orange (wanadoo) forever! however my husband is fed up as recent past weeks his'ping' has gone through the roof! therfore we thought of changing. ok bt said yes we can give you a constant of 5.5mb. rang orange asked for my mac code & they offered me a better package than bt.
however as i explained to orange how can they offer me up to 8mb when it says on my account they have tested my line & it can only support up to 1mb! they are emailing my mac code allegedly in a few days so i have time to consider options. i would appreciate any advice over this as the better deal comes with setbacks- namely a set 12 mth contract whereas i can walk away now...............

I'm with BT but they're not cheap. I know the in-laws have had no trouble with Tiscali, but there are online tests that can tell you what speed you can get. A google search should find them.My suggestion and/or advice is my own and it is up to you if you follow it, please check the advice given before acting on it.0

IDNet or Zen are both excellent ISP's, both only have 30 day contracts.
Take a look at what their customers say about them at ThinkBroadband.
BT are almost as bad as Orange.0
