Having just noticed them for the first time now that you pointed this out, I checked out your terms and contitions. This one seems a little odd though:

You are welcome to link to our site if you comply with the terms set out in this section and all applicable laws. Any site or service that links to our site:

5.4.3 may link only to our homepage unless we have given you our prior written consent;
...
If you breach these terms, then we have the right to require that your link is removed and to take whatever other action we think appropriate.

So you're really saying that I need written permission to put a link on my site to a specific article like this? Because as far as I was aware, on the Internet anyone can link to anything if they so wish...

This clause was used in the days of Frames, more often than not a direct link would deliver the required information without the visitor knowing the actual supplier of that information.

Clicking on the example above provides the information required by the visitor, but it also provides links to the rest of Money Saving Expert, so I am inclined to agree with Martin, that he would be happy to have direct links to information on his site "Within the constraints of the Term's & Conditions of course"
