Morning, actually its now afternoon.
I have made a few changes to my SOA. I just checked HSA policy details and they were going to charge me £21 per month instead of the £13.25 i signed upto. Because the offer i signed up to expired, they just put me on the highest level. I have just managed to sort it and its now only £7.70 a month.
Also, i forgot to add in mobile phone costs. I am on PAYG because i don't trust myself to get a contract, my bills would be soo high. Least with PAYG i can keep my text addiction under control.
A day off today for me, so i popped into town. I bought a few bits in Primark and spent £10, then i went into Boots to use up a few pinkie vouchers i had and bits i bought cost more than £5, so ended up paying out £10.50 in boots, but that included £5 mobile top up. I like to do it in boots as i get advantage points.
Just going to work out my figures for the month now and try and see if i can afford to make the Kays payment, otherwise it will be a late payment, and a £12 charge, also a late payment on my credit report, so i don't want that.

Hi, i think you should try restrict your spending or even easier set up stading orders say 200 pound for oh.... and 150 for kays and 50 quid barcalys or maintain 100 for oh and then 50 on both cards.... ugg boots were not a necessity really were they?? and you shouldnt really have spent knowing you might not have enough to make a payment it would be much easier to clear the debt it you held off spending a few months and then once you are free of debt pay with your own money otherwise you will end up in a deeper situation.... well done on coming on the boards !
good luck with your journey ps sorry if i sound harsh but ive had to learn some sharp lessons and you are at a good point where you can get your self in order and get saving for a house

Hi Happytogetdebtfree,
Thank you for posting. I'm happy to take on board all constructive criticism and build it into ways to help me stop any unnecessary spending.
Ugg boots were not a necessity i agree, but i had put money away for them, and i wasn't expecting the Kays bill to be so early. I have however worked out i can afford to pay it, it will just be a cheap month for me.

I'm really going to push myself, because i want this debt gone, gone and never ever back again!!!
I'm working hard to earn more Amazon vouchers, and earn as much cashback as i can, i will then use that to put towards Christmas presents. Its not helping that i'm going on holiday for Xmas this year, America, so i'm having to save around £400 of whats left at the end of each month to save for spending money. Novembers pay will be the first month i save for this, so i'm hoping to have around £900 to take away with me. I'm kicking myself abit, if i didn't have the holiday, ii could of been debt free in January. Holiday cost me £800, and then the £800+ spending money - arrgghhh!!! I pick the worst times to go away.

Hiya dancingfairy,
LOL - I have been having lessons for just over a year, and have so far paid out over 3K. I keep failing on silly things, so i'm not prepared to have pointless lessons with my instructor until the test, so i just have a few hours the day before, and then 2 hrs before the test. My next test isn't until beginning of December, so thats the most i'm prepared to pay this month. 3rd time lucky next month, i really need to pass!!!

I have just read your diary... Your soooo funny spendaholic!!! You sound exactly like me! Im a total shopaholic also!
Piece of advise with the Ugg Boots order them online from Australia next time I got mine for £90 in total with postage there tons cheaper there! I got a brown pair and there amazing, I totally love them!
I really wanted a black pair too but I convinced myself otherwise and I actually flew to Geneva in Switzerland for the day shopping (flight £40) (you must try it when you can afford it again!) and managed to get 2 pairs of full leather boots for £60! They were both on sale, not sure how much from but all the other boots in the shop seemed to be £150+!! The quality of them is amazing so totally worth the trip!
Good luck with becoming debt free

Hello christie22,
LMAO @ your first comment. Us shopaholics need to stick together.
I was looking to order them from Australia, but then got worried about the customs charges, knowing my luck i'd get a large bill when i receive them. Geneva sounds good, may see if i can persuade my OH to go hehe, when i'm debt free of course. I'm looking to get a grey cardy pair next, but think i may wait until America, hopefully might be able to get them a little cheaper *i hope*.
