Well done hun on getting a crowd I am sooooooo dooyoo jealous ;)

I don't think I put in enough effort to ever get a crown although the extra points are definately tempting.

I managed three reviews yesterday and hoping to do the same today. I am just under 15000 points and trying hard to hang in for the cash.

    hey,

I've just sat and read through the thread and you have given me so many good ideas! I am playing on Bingoport now and will get going with DooYoo soon! I signed up but never did anything!

  • Hi doodledo, I agree, the extra Dooyoo points make it much more worth while writing very informative review, than a quickie just for the 500 points. I only write 2 a day, and they are normally long informative reviews. I now have enough for another voucher due to lovely people reviewing my reviews today and making me 450 lovely points :D If it wasn't Christmas and if i didn't have two computer mad bros, and one computer mad OH, i'd put doo Dooyoo for the cash too, but most of the bits i need for Crimbo pressies i can get from Amazon, so getting the vouchers makes it harder for me to blow the £50 on going out lol.

Emma - I'm glad my thread has helped you, and given you lots of new ideas. Have fun playing Bingoport, and i hope you enjoy writing reviews on Dooyoo. I hated it to begin with, but now i love writing them and reading other peoples.

I have been a naughty girl today, and spent £4.79 on some lunch and 2 magazines - i regret it now but means tomorrow i will spend zero, i hope. The More mag did have a few party dress ideas, so that was good lol.

Right, off write my 2 Dooyoo reviews, then i shall be back for a looksy at other peoples daries.
Hello to everyone to reads by diary btw :hello: xxxxx

Evening Shops I have literally just logged on to dooyoo too. Have managed one review so far today but hoping to do another two.

I don't blame you for using the vouchers for Xmas presents saves getting pennies out of the bank.

  • Checked bank account this morning and my £25 from Quidco has gone in, every little helps, so thats boosted my bank balance a bit too. I have all my holiday spending money in there, so its looking good, but that will have be withdrawn soon, but i'm not sure when to get my $$, i want to wait really as the $$ to the ££ is carp at the moment, but knowing me, if i wait it will go down even more - arrgghh! Last year this time the $$ to the ££ was just over 2.01, now its 1.49 to the pound - rubbish.

Tonight my OH and I are off out, it will be a cheap night as orange Wednesday cinema, we are going to see Four Christmases, so that should be nice, get us in the festive mood, and after going out for a quick meal, we have 2 4 1 vouchers for Pizza Express, so should cost around £20 for the whole night.

Just had a driving lesson as i have my test on Friday, pretty nervous, but my instructor said if i drive like i have done the last few lessons i should pass easily. Unfortuantely, the nerves get the better of me and i just mess up. This is my third test, and i sooooo badly want to be driving!!!

So far today i've spent £42 on my 2hr driving lesson. Another £10 tonight on cinema.

Just caught up on your thread. Hope you have fun tonight! I really want to go and see Four Christmases but OH wants to see Lakeview Terrace and I promised I'd let him pick this weekends movie. Blehh.

Good luck with your driving test on friday too :j
  • Hi Cinny, Thanks for posting. Maybe next weekend you can go see Four Christmases, be bit near to Christmas too. I will let you know if its any good, i've heard its really funny, so should be good hopefully.

Thanks for the good luck, i will need it lol.

  • God, i'm soooo nervous about my driving test tomorrow. If i fail i fail, i can always re-book, however i'm hoping its 3rd time lucky tomorrow, and not 4th time lucky. Just want it over with now.

I received £10 Amazon voucher from Dooyoo today, and £5 Amazon voucher from Bingoport, so thats £15 towards the £40 i'd like to make before next Thursday. I also received today lots of bits i ordered from Amazon and Paperchase, its soo great receiving packages when you know it cost you ZERO. My OH and I have a limit of £150 to spend on each other, i think i've managed to buy 60% off the stuff he wanted for free using the vouchers, so only around £40 will be spent from my own money, how amazing. This Christmas i really haven't felt the strain, i've got so many presents through Amazon/Paperchase for free, i've not paid out hardly anything :j

I was invigilating some exams today at work, and managed to write 3 Dooyoo reviews on paper, so all i need to do is write them up on the website, which shouldn't take too long as i can type around 80wpm. I should have enough by tomorrow to redeem £15 this week, instead of the usual £10.

Its my works Christmas do tomorrow night, so that should be fun because all the food and drink will be free. We are going to a very posh restaurant, and the MD will be ordering champers, yey!!! Only thing i need to pay for tomorrow is a cab home, but i'll be sharing that we 4 others so shouldn't cost more than 5 i hope.

Last night went to the cinema then out for a meal, and in total i only spent £11 :T was v happy with that. However, the movie wasn't all that. Some people have said it was really funny, but my OH and I didn't really laugh, it as very silly and predictable, ah well, it was a Christmas movie so got us in the festive mood a lil.

Right, off to write up them Dooyoo reviews.

  • Yesterday wasn't a great day, i FAILED my drving test, was sooo upset. My own silly fault, i stopped at a set of traffic lights, put it into first, well i thought it was first, but it was in 2nd  car didn't stall, but made a silly noise, and he failed me for that, if i didn't do that, i would of passed. Thing that annoyed me most was he said "you can drive, i can see that, but you kept cars waiting so it had to be a serious, i'm sure you'll pass on your next test" if i'm failed for such silly things, i held a car up for about 5 seconds, kept the car under control, how will i ever pass

Off to book my test again, i really didn't budget for another £56.50 going out for this month for another test, but i need to re-do it asap.

My have a bad head today, it was my xmas do last night, and the MD ordered tons of wine, 4 bottles of pink champers between the 7 of us. I kept waking up last night feeling sick. I spent ZERO all evening, i love nights out where you spend nothing.

Somehow, i have spent £48 between now and yesterday morning. I bought lunch yesterday morning and some wrapping paper, that cost around £9, then today bought some bits, some silly stocking gifts for OH in Anne Summers, they are doing 3 4 2, so i spent £9 in there, and bought some more wrapping paper from Birthdays, also some gift bags, gift boxes, all on 3 4 2 and spent £10.50 in there. Travel for yesterday and today, another £7, where did the rest go? hmmm. Funny how money can easily go.

Its a night in tonight watching X Factor, and a few christmas dvds i bought cheap a few weeks ago, so no money being spent.

I still need to buy a few more xmas gifts, i have budgeted for them though, so will order them online now.

    Off i go.. xxxx

P.S) just remembered where i spent the other money, topped up my mobile £10. Because of the lower VAT i actually got £10.25 :T thats enough to get me my 300 free texts for next month.

And, i complained to Sainsburys a few weeks ago, i bought a flapjack, then when i went to eat it i noticed it went off 4 days ago. I wrote them a complaint letter, and enclosed the not eaten flapjack, and today received a letter from them giving me a £6 gift card :D
