Orange contracts 9 months?

Hi

I am now in the tenth month of my orange contract. I called on Friday the last day of my 9 months (been with orange since 16th March) to upgrade and get a better tarriff and the gentleman on the phone said that i had to have been with orange for a whole 9 months, which i thought i had, he told me i had to call back on the 16th January if this is the case won't i be entering my 11th month of service, is he trying to fob me off,

also does anyone know if they do the Razr V3 in hot pink!

You can't ask for a PAC or upgrade on a 12 month contract until you have been with the service for 11 months :beer:

Thanks for that, can i ask where you got the info from, because the wise man advert says that you have to be in the tenth month of contract!

It's always been that for aslong as I can remember, so sorry I can't point you to a certain place. No doubt it is described in some terms and conditions, but it'd take a while to go through them.
I've never heard of a wise man advert :-s

you can upgrade after 9 months, but you can't leave, so you are not in such a strong position to get a good deal as you can't threaten to leave.

also the 3 remaining months will be built into the new contract so it will become either a 15 month or 21 month contract depending on the contract you take out

You can ask for a PAC on the 2nd day of the contract, you just have to pay them 12 months line rental to get it and use it

Yes sorry, I didn't go into much detail on the topics above because I didn't think the poster wanted to do it that way...
My ways above involved no penalties :j

DO NOT BUY A RAZOR V3!!!! I am trying to return mine as the phone is awful!
