Oh dear! lol, hubby set it up and I doubt if he will remember. I've had a stab at some 'possibles' but no luck. Would there be a way around it if he can't remember ? Im thinking not......skint but in luv :kisses2:0

Did you try leaving the password blank? if not it is possible to reset the router to factory defaults which would set the password as blank. You could then go through the configuration again. I believe they may have a wizard on the dlinks for the config, although it's been a while since I've used one.If I have helped in any way, and you feel like it - please press the thanks button:beer:0

it goes through 'disabling' / 'enabling' / sits on 'connecting for about a minute, then says 'Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be completed : Connecting to the wireless network'. It's really strange as I had been online when this all happened and I've not upped my firewall or anything. I really appreciate all your help by the way!skint but in luv :kisses2:0

Sounds like wireless is enabled then, just a problem with your connection settings. If you right click on the wireless icon and view available wireless connections can you see your connection. If so, is it showing as a security enabled network (WPA or WEP)? If it is, do you know your wep key.If I have helped in any way, and you feel like it - please press the thanks button:beer:0
