It's lovely china.
Blooming expensive too (not that we paid, obviously).
I think we have set of 8, but if I could up that to 12, say, it would be handy.
I suppose the only up-side is that it might be going for a good price on Ebay soon!
Some of the replies to my post made me giggle, which at least is something positive in this shower of gloomy forecasts. I was feeling really down until I read the responses - thanks to all!

Dusting, no - with a 2 year old, it's all stored carefully, I can assure you.
But oh yes, very careful washing it up, believe me.0 -

Then you can invite 4 more round for dinner. Let me see; Brodders, Really, Pickles and... well, maybe not.
The conversation would be lively but the china might not survive the evening.0 -

Just got a marketing email from eBay today urging me to "free up some cash" by flogging off stuff on their site..... Sign of the times, I guess.--
Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.0 -
Surely the price would get pushed up, rather than down - it's now rarer ... (or something like that?)0
