Bought a pushchair last week £75 on buy it now and paid straight away. Received it friday morning. Later that afternoon i decided to put it together so started with the frame and wheels. everything looked great until i came to get the seat out of the box and discovered the hood of the pushchair was missing. Ive messaged the seller 4 times since then and heard nothing back. Ive also pulled their details and tried phoning but it says the number isnt recognised. I thought id be safe buying from ths seller, over 300 positive feedbacks and all 100%. They are still listing pushchairs for sale each day so they must be receiving the messages i send through ebay. Fair enough the pushchair is still usuable but i wouldnt have bought it without the hood part. I dont even think i could do a charge back as i used christmas money baby recieved off family to buy the pram and cant really afford to send it back as its a quinny 4xl and very heavy. anyone know what else i can do? Thanks.

have you tried searching for the number on BT website (or on phone disc if you have it at work, like me)It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.
Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0 -
Apologies for suggesting something that the OP has already said she's tried. I'll delete my post.
I'm rushing a bit this afternoon as I am last minute packing for my holiday tomorrow.

Luckily you bought using BIN so you are covered under UK consumer law and not 'buyer beware' as with auctions.
Get in touch with ebay and either do a 'chargeback' or look at the sellers past feedback and see if you can contact anyone who has sold something to the seller and if they still have the address.
Good luck

yes ive tried phoning. when i pull details it comes up as a company name which ive tried searching for but cant find online. They have already left me positive feedback so i can easily give a neg but im still going to be left with a incomplete pram.0

Do I have to send the pram back first to do a charge back? I doubt i will have the money until after christmas to post it off.0

I know you say you don't want to chargeback as you can't return the pram but why not start the chargeback anyway? At least you will get the sellers attention...
Once the seller contacts you to ask about the chargeback you can tell him about the pram hood and he might just put it in the post for you at which point, on receipt, you can withdraw the claim.

You start the chargeback and let paypal do its thing, and only when they find in your favour do you have to send the item back, by which time the seller should have contacted you to sort out the missing part.

thanks. Ive just messaged them again and mentioned that the phone number is invalid. Ive also reported them to ebay for false contact info. If ive heard nothing back in the next hour I will start a charge back and hopefully get some response from the seller that way.0
