Well if we have a customer 'in store' and its chip and pin - its no come back on the retailer . If the chip and pin fails or we swipe the card - then its the retailers problem - we will be charged back.
If we process over the 'phone' and lets say the cv code dont match - its automaticly charged back , also we had a problem earlier this year and the police were involved . We did everything correct - and the chargeback was passed back to the bank. Barclays merchant services told me that the 'bank' would foot the bill as the original cardholder would be refunded.
I had this happen to me personally last year , and within a week the A&L refunded me back.0 -
Money back in my account

I only sent the fraud forms off Wednesday. Noticed my account balance had gone up, but couldnt see how. Then noticed a "Debit Card Adjustment" dated from the 3rd November on Page 2 of recent transactions (the date the money was taken out)0
