Clarity on ISA transfer from Icesave to another bank/building society

Hi all, I am with First Direct and my IceSave finally came back in to my account this morning. £16k of it is my ISA which now needs a new home.
I take it that Yorkshire, Birmigham Midshires and Natwest are the favourites that will take transfers in?
I just need an account that can be managed online and offers a better rate than the First Direct ISA.MFW #185

I could be wrong but I don't think there are any FRISA's left that you can transfer in to, not at a decent rate anyway, sorry

The two listed on the first post here have long expired.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
(despite us eventually being in the possession of an ISA certificate).
How long did you wait between receiving the money back and the certificate?
I have just been into Nat West , who phoned HO to confirm that they know nothing about certificates or being able to reinvest ISA's

I received the money back into my linked account this morning. I have all the forms ready to go back to Scottish Widows to open a new ISA but I don't know whether to wait until I get the certificate from the FSCS or just pop a letter in with my application and transfer form just explaining what the craic is and saying I'll get the certificate to them asap? I still have some ISA allowance left for this year so am I fine to now subscribe to this "new" ISA for my remainder as it will be the only ISA I have active?
I don't want to lose interest but then again, I don't want them to kick up a fuss and start losing cheques.
Advice and a friendly push would be useful

Why don't you just contact Scottish Widows & check what's acceptable to them?0

Reply to an email about transfering previous Icesave ISA to Newcastle Building Society
"You can invest with us from Icesave .
In order to open an account you need to request an application form and send this back to us along with the certificate received from the FSCS and then send the money once we have received the application and certificate ."
Seems Simple.

Had a quick scan of best FRISA's currently available here and have found these ...
Halifax - 1yr FRISA - 5.25% - (5.75% £30k+) allows transfers in
Nationwide - 1yr FRISA - 4.75% - no transfers in
There were several more listed in the tables but I can't find them on the relevant websites so can only assume they have been withdrawn very recently

The B&B 1 Year Fixed Rate eISA (Issue 4) @ 6.25% still appears to be available at the moment - no transfers in http://www.bradford-bingley.co.uk/savings/product/one-year-fixed-rate-eISA-issue4.asp~Chameleon~ wrote: »Had a quick scan of best FRISA's currently available here and have found these ...

Oooops I missed that one as I'd put £3000 as minimum investment instead of £3600 in the search field

Shame, as I can't tie the cash up for 1 year. Just need the best paying ISA that will accept transfers in and is easy access... according to comparison websites Natwest seems ok or am I missing something?MFW #185
