Rusty where are your pots from? thanks

also if they are in bulgaria what happens if they win on
    the scratch cards?

Hi threelittlepigs, the pots were from ikea and were 79p each which I didn't think was bad, Kandipandi has used the cups from the same range and I think she said they were 59p each?

If they win on the scratch cards then they will post them back to claim it and I will pay it into their account ...

When I decided I was doing them I had planned on sticking in a £10 note ... til OH mentioned it would be a pointless pressie for them as they can't use it over there :rotfl:

Zoe the prices on there are scary lol

kesb try jacquline wilson books, they are ace for younger teemage girls (she wrote tracy beaker which became a tv show if that is of any use)

what about some little lip glosses or face masks? is great to experiment with that stuff at that age when they are really getting into make up etc

    <enters thread tentatively> :D

I've been looking at the pictures of everyones boxes/hampers/pots of gold/snowman soup, etc.. with much admiration - you're all so clever!! Anyway, my friend has a birthday very soon so I'm getting her a Mamma Mia DVD and have decided to attempt to make a "cinema night in" hamper thingy with popcorn, couple of bottles of Magners, choccies, possibly an Abba wig, etc.... But one thing I haven't noticed on any of the threads I've looked at is where you get the cellophane from.

Can anyone enlighten me as to where you can buy it please.

Janepig you can buy it on ebay from a shop called flowerhour, failing that they also have a website https://www.flowerhour.co.uk

Hope this helps and good luck, remember to come and show us the piccies :)

Hi my gold cups were 79p also (i think). Loving your pots Rusty - and I think if they win they should post the scratchcard to you and you can cash it and RUN AWAY/EMIGRATE/MOVE HOUSE! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks - I bet it's a question that's been asked loads of times.

Another question though. I've had a quick look at the website and there's loads of lovely patterned cellophane, but I was wondering whether plain would be just as good, obviously tied at the top with a ribbon. Or should I go for a pattern?

That is personal preference, I prefer to use plain because I buy it in massive rolls of 25 metres and I use it for nappy cakes/hampers/various other things so it has to be suitable for everything after all I can't sell a pink nappy cake with blue dotted cello or vice versa, however I am sooooo jealous of some of the lovely pretty cello others use.
