I just wanted to thank you all for the wonderful suggestions, what a lovely lot of people you all are and it has made me realise that there are an awful lot of good people around. I think I have personally used everyone's "thanks" button but I wanted to put into words how grateful I am. If anything the credit crunch is showing what the true spirit of Christmas is all about.0

Just to add to others suggestions. I also have a 13 yr old ds and an 11 yr old ds. At the moment, one of their favourite treats is to sit down as a family and get stuck in to some old fashioned board games. Favourite is monopoly followed by cluedo and scrabble (using my old games which are about 30 years old!!). If you dont play board games regularly, how about checking out the charity shops to see what you can pick up. You can use these as a treat on Christmas Day rather than a present.
Good luck anywayPlease do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
