Continental Airlines

I flew with Continental earlier this year from New York to Belfast. I can't say I was particularly impressed with the flight compared to other long haul airlines I've flown with (BA, Air Canada, Aer Lingus).

The crew didn't seem to care at all about the passengers - I thought they are supposed to smile and at least pretend to enjoy their jobs and look after the passengers? I normally manage to sleep for the entire transatlantic flight (much to the disgust of my OH!) but I was so uncomfortable that it was impossible. I was glad it was only 6 hours and I have to say I'd probably choose another airline next time as long as the price difference wasn't extortionate.

Saying that, it might not have been quite so bad if it wasn't for the obnoxious american guy I had to sit beside who arrived late, delayed the plane by having a fight with his girlfriend on the phone (when he eventually got on the plane), and spent the entire journey fidgetting in his seat and complaining about anything and everything!
