I have flown with them from Edinburgh through to Seattle and Edi to Newark and have had no complaints other than the leg-room but I always have complaints about that no matter what the airline.

I think it depends on where you are flying from and the type of plane we flew from Manchester in 2006 and the plane was a 2-4-2 configueration which is ideal if travellig as a couple. Seat back entertainment was standard and it was a decent flight. I believe Manchester planes are now 3-3 with no seat back entertainment. Check the plane when on the booking page and look at www.seatguru.com. It will show you the type of plane and what you get.

The thing is there is very little between most transatlantic airlines. They all have good points and bad points. If the price is right go for it. Its only 11 hrs.

I flew with them from Toronto to New York and were fine, but obviously not a long flight.
  • It is a Continental Flight operated by Virgin Atlantic

I like Continental (but I did fly Business with them last time :hehe: )

I have flown several times with them before though, they are one of the best US airlines that I have flown - my most recent flights, we all had IVOD.
You can check in online 24hrs in advance (less wait at the airport)
You can choose your seat when you book
    You can manage everything online

If you have more than 3 or 4 hrs to kill at EWR (I assume you're flying through there?) get a one off lounge pass for the President's Club (about £20, less with quidco)
