I completely understand the telling parents and in-laws thing. We had a fireworks party 7 years ago to announce our first was due and had the whole family, mumds, dads, sisters and brothers. Worked really well as we handed our sparklers we said this is from your first grandchild, neice or nephew. Since then our kids always have sparklers on their cakes and when we concieved our second we had another fireworks party, seems I fall pregnant in time for bonfire night each time.
