Another silly, pathetic little annoyance.
Do you not realise that there are plenty of people who use home delivery/internet shopping because they have no other way of doing their shopping? Many disabled people use it. Many only shop once every 2 weeks or so to save money, so by making stupid substitutions they have caused them huge problems. They may not get another delivery for 2 weeks, they may not have any local support, so can not just pop out to get the essentials. The people who make these so called "funny substitutions" should really think about their possible impact!
I too used to find such things funny, but then I left infant school!!!!0 -

The only 2 that would cause problems are the tampons and milk, Cigarettes are not essential (Don't give me the yes they are crap) and a pregnancy test (which I wouldnt order from a home shopping network)
Your arguement is flawed and you should just simply grow up, seriously!

I don't think that it is possible to answer the original question without seeing the bill, so we won't be able to answer it fully. However, I have always found that Tesco will refund or correct a bill if you call them or email.
Sometimes the online supermarkets are not so forthcoming with their contact details - I have found them all (phone email etc) here - online supermarket contact details - with customer service opening times etc etc. Very handy page.
One point about prices changing - there can be a live offer when you make your order but the offer isn't still going when your items are packed and delivered. Watch out for expiry dates on offers, BOGOFs and so on.
Another tip - always phone them up if you have an issue. I have found that they would rather hear from you than lose you as a customer. They don't like to mess up but they do want to know when they have!
Hope that helps.0 -
Another tip, never order around a tuesday, thats when all the offers expire.0

Do you work for Tesco d.edna? I shall certainly look out for your advice in future!
My Tesco is 10 miles away or so but I go past two other supermarkets to get there because it's so much better than them, so if you do work for them, keep up the good work!0 -

You seem to have a bit of a chip on your shoulder - someone posted a funny little post about some wrong substitutions; you really need to chill!
As for "because they have no other way of doing their shopping"; this is a barmy suggestion! You realise that nobody HAS to use ANY service, don't you? It's not the supermarkets' duty to provide this service.0
