Down to business. I have spent the last 12 months on Select 500 (500 xnetwork mins) for £25/month.
The tariff had worked well for me so just want to keep on the same really but upgrade to a Motorola V3.
First, I spoke to upgrades to esablish the date my contract expires (which incidently is today) and she offered me the same tariff and V3 for £99.99!
Then, I called Op 4, Op 3 (retentions) and followed the script about how great CS are and how the coverage is good etc and she offered me the same deal!!! (£99.99)
This is bearing in mind that last year they matched 3's tariff and gave me a Nokia 6230 (a phone of similar value to the V3).
Obviosly they are tryin to get me off this tariff but is what Im asking for too unreasonable??? Afterall, it worked last year!
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again.

We had similar thing (on same tariff) and were offered the same phone free of charge
plus 30 free texts for 12 months on top of the 500 minutes
worth calling again and asking for PAC code
(remember you don't need to use it once requested)0 -

Don't praise the network whatever you do, if they think you are happy and unlikely to leave they aren't going to crumble. If you point out faults and reasons that could force you to leave for another network signal/CS/lack of deals etc. they may try and keep you.0 -
do you spent any money on your bill besides the £25, if you dont then you arent really keep material certainly not to give you a 3 tariff and a expensive phone.
why not try for a samsung e350 or maybe somethinga bit cheaper?0
