can i open multiple Halifax Fixed Rate Web Saver accounts?

I've got 6 websavers

One variable and 5 fixed rate. I too thought there was a maximum of 5 websavers in total, but at the bottom of my accounts page was an invitation to open the 7% 3 month fixed term websaver so I tried it and it worked OK.

I remember sometime last year trying to open another fixed rate websaver, and my application was blocked because I already had 5 websavers. I didn't realise there was a limit at that time, but it must have now been removed because I can't see any reference to a limit on the number of websavers you can have concurrently.

Also I've opened a Guaranteed Saver account. Currently offering 6% fixed for 12 months. Useful for some of my Icesave fixed account money to go into. Interest rate not much lower than they were (apart from the 7.1% I had on one). So I intend taking all my fixed Icesave accounts out now rather tahn leaving to maturity
