yep im waiting for the jan sales...i used to build mine as it was between 100-200% more expensive to buy a ready made system up to 6 years ago...since then the ready made systems have plummetted in price.....usually these companies skimp on the motherboard...so upgradeabbility is poor....but at these price what the hell....

change the 3 year Next business fay to 1 yr collect and return
change the 15 TFT to 17 TFT

649 delivered inc vat and free printer (sell it on ebay for 15-20.00!)

thats for the new 775 slot based pentium 3.0ghz chip, pci express grahics card, 160gb hard drive, 16x dvd writer....trust me you would struggle to build it yourself for that..even using ebuyer!

Tried calling them with my IR number but the order is still not showing on their system.

I'm hoping they have had an enormous backlog of Christmas orders and are so slow that they have not got to mine yet

Did you ever check the 'Order Status' on Dell's website?
If you did, was your order on there?

I too have ordered and like others have not received any confirmation of the order nor can I find it on Dell's website using the IR (internet receipt) Number.

I had an attempted delivery of it to yesterday and am awaiting re-delivery tomorrow when the other half is home.

It was on the website order tracking system throughout, although I could only access it after getting my PDF from DELL

I received a pdf with the order details after about 24hours but i never checked the status. was with me within a week of placing the order.

No pdf unfortunately, nor is it showing on their system.
I guess they've just lost my order!

Oh well, not long to until the Dell Sale - hopefully will pick something up then.
