Thanks to everyone who has posted messages about my ECG today - I was really very scared, but I'm so relieved it was all okay. I thought it would just be stress, but my Gran had heart problems, my Dad has high blood pressure etc, so I was a bit worried.

Can't wait to go running again now! :j

it's bizarrely quiet this year so far for bonfire night. Maybe more will get going after 7 or so. It's been quiet for the last week or so - only one 'set' last night which is unusual these days.

At least someone listened about NOT buying in Spain Z! One of my work colleagues bought last year and now theyare offering a BOGOF on the same properties.
Serves him right for being so full of himself and refusing pref rates for his freinds to rent...what goes around bites you in the *rse

It was the XOH's sister and brother in law. They had a financial advisor, who had been giving pretty poor advice, but was also a "friend" so they felt they couldn't tell him to go forth and multiply.

I did a real hatchet job on it. Spreadsheets, comparison properties, cash-flow projections...

A shed on the fore-deck of the Titanic had better prospects by the time I'd finished... :rotfl:
