Toddler birthday present - ideas?

My DD is 19 months & can't get enough of her big sister's magnadoodle. You can get different sizes at different prices. The great thing about this is the little one can do "making marks" as her creche calls it but you don't have to be checking that they are not getting it everywhere (we do do paint, crayons & pens but I watch her like a hawk when she is doing that!)
Also asda did have a 1/2 pirce toy sale on - don't know if it is still on.
Or what about a music CD, a pairs game, jigsaw etc.
My DD loves walking round with jewelry on & a bag over her arm pushing her monkey (don't ask) around in his pram! You can pick up little prams cheaply & they feel so grown up! We are going to get her a "grown up" pram in the Jan sales ready for her birthday in March.

If cash is an issue, I'd be inclined to have a look at ebay. At this time of the year there are lots of lovely toys on there, and due to the numbers, reasonably priced too. Remember to check out Argos, woollies etc. for special offers first.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0

It was the best present ever! no mess drawing! comes in a box but quite light so not much p+p i think, or you could get it sent to her direct(amazon now do free del over £5).
I think the Thomas version is reduced to £15.

            It's the thought that counts
The latest and best toys she can get from her parents and grandparents - people like you it's just nice to be remembered by so don't feel guilty about not spending a lot. What's your budget?
A book could be posted, or you could buy something from the book people website, and find a code on here for free postage. If you want to giftwrap it and remove the receipt, get it sent to you then post it on yourself - choose a paperback 52% tight0 52% tight0

My little one is 15 months old. I'd suggest cash for CTF/bank account or a book - one of those tough board ones. Don't worry about duplicate books - they get worn out so quickly that replacements are welcome!0

 Thanks for so many replies!
Today I got the fattest colouring book I've ever seen and tomorrow I'll be hunting for some nice chunky crayons. and tomorrow I'll be hunting for some nice chunky crayons.
Thanks everyone, and some really good ideas there!"She who asks is a fool once. She who never asks is a fool forever"
