Name: TEDDY BEAR WARMERS
Price: £2 approx
You need to: Make it/Buy it
You need to:
Use one of your child's favourite teddies, or buy a cute teddy from a charity shop. Remove any plastic tags.
Carefully cut open the back, and remove the filling. Make sure the seams are all in tact and strong. Fill with wheat (you can add any essential oils to make them smelly at this stage also). Sew the cut back up and there you have a gorgeous winter warmer for your child to take to bed with them. Beats a boring hot water bottle.
You can tie a pretty tag around it's neck, hand, or foot saying:
"I'm your magic winter warmer bear, heat me in the microwave and give me a cuddle.
800w - 30 seconds
600w - 50 seconds
It is a perfect way to bring all those unloved teddies left at charity shops, be back where they belong!!No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30 -

- Make it or buy it? Make it
- Total Cost? £1 approx
You can either use the computer and upload funny pictures of the recipient onto the computer, copy and paste the picture into word and keep pasting until you have the whole page filled with the picture. Print them out and use this as wrapping paper. If you have a bigger pressie, you can stick loads of A4 paper together.
If you don't have a printer or simple to make it even cheaper - get the children to draw festive pictures on A4 paper or get the paints out and let them paint. Leave to dry, then use as wrapping paper.
It is really entertaining for the children to fill in the time that drags before xmas day and also the recipients of the pressies will absolutely love that personal touch! No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30 - Name of present? Personalised Wrapping Paper

I tried this out today and it works brilliantly - well done!!! I will definitely be using this for a variety of my Christmas gifts. - we keep chickens so I'm going to wrap the dry ingredients in cellophane and put them inside the mug and and add one of our girls eggs too so all they'll need to add is the milk and oil - would just comment that the tablespoons of dry ingredients should be level otherwise the cake comes out a bit dry but still a fantastic and original idea!!:Avikki_louise wrote: »Name of present? 5 minute chocolate mug cake
Do you make it or buy it? both
Total Cost? £2 although you might be able to do it for less!
Details (the more the better) I was given a recipes by a friend a while back for a microwavable cake and it turns out it can be made in a mug. So for the present give the person a nice (largest possible) mug. You could put things like a bag of chocolate chips, mixed nuts, raisins etc in the mug. Wrap nicely and attached the receipy and instructions
5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1 000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
You could also layer up the ingredients in a jar (minus the liquid ones) but that will put time and cost up a bit
