I was wondering if anyone can help.
We booked 2x flights to Dublin with Ryanair for June 09 £150 a few weeks back but we are now unable to go.
Do you think we stand a chance of getting are money back?
Is it possible to get insurance and then claim?
TIA

Write a nice personal letter to that kind Mike O'Reilly, perhaps with a small gift. Promise to make him a godfather once your child is born. He is such a sweet gentleman; he has built Ryanair on a business model that involves giving refunds at the drop of a hat; and this board is full of threads praising the high standards of customer service that they provide.
I do have to admit that I have never used them, despite their many positive features. The truth is... I am nervous about travelling on a flying pig!0 -
You can't get insurance for something that has already happened.0

you can ask. if they won't let you, don't cancel. otherwise they can sell the ticket again.
at least that way they won't make any more money on it.
good luck with everything else, it will be worth infinitely more than the price of the tickets.Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?0 -
Thanks for the info.
I've checked the Ryanair website, it states that I can get a refund on the taxes.
Which it's better than nothing I guess!!
Think it's a disgrace how flight companies get away with this to be honest.0 -

You'd be better off writing to Mike O'Leary. Mike O'Reilly checks the passports at BristolIt's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0
