Hi, I have signed up for the Half Moon, in London. I will be walking with my sister, but she lives 100 miles away, so I was 'training' before Christmas with my DH.
It's been too cold this week to get out walking, but I am looking forward to the warmer weather, so I can get out and about again.

Hoping to get out tonight to start training. Will be taking it fairly easy though, and am aiming to start the serious stuff at the end of the month.

Yup - I'm doing the Edinburgh one (20th June!) with my OH and my sis-in-law who lost their Mum 23(ish) years ago.

Only started training(!) last weekend but have done nothing during the week as been busy doing other things! :( Will be trying to find some good shoes this weekend - anyone got any suggestions/hints/tips? I've never had a pair of shoes which I can walk unlimited distances in (must have weird feet) so the shoe thing scares me more than the 26 mile walk!

Hi all, hope the training is going well.

I managed to get in three short walks this week, and also did a pilates DVD one day.

Am aiming for another three sessions this week, but getting progressively quicker.

    Good luck!

Good luck to all those walking at all of the walks. :j
