To be honest I think the reason pinky/TS thing was stopped was because a lot of people on here mentioned they had done the 3 for 2 gift combination several times. This won't just be picked up on here, but noticed on the transaction records at the end of the day. I'm not blaming anyone who did this, but from Boots point of view this is taking the p**s when vouchers aren't being used on No7/R&M products, which was a generous offer anyway.

It's probably easiest to just carry on on here as normal, as whatever we do people can find out easy enough. The new vouchers are so crap I won't be bothering going to Boots for a while (well after getting my free Prima eyeshadow and using my last pinky!) unless its to spend my points.

Been reading through today and just had to register to post (been a regular lurker)....Mr B if you force this site "underground" then i'd like to send you a great big "thankyou"...so would my OH ...because you will be saving me a small fortune ...i never really used to shop at boots only odd things..since using this site my ac never seems to be in my purse for more than five minutes ...i may have gained a few bargains...but i have spent a fair bit getting them and have bought many other things in the process....so Mr B think carefully about cutting the glitches cos its a double edged sword .

I think the till is still OK with the pinky/tillspit combo if you can get it past the SA or do it quietly at the SS till. But I think Mr Boots is changing how things are going to work in the future so there wont be glossy vouchers and tillspits at the same time.

When i was in boots yesterday ...i had to ask the sa for my bluey ..she started chatting about how they were handing them out because the ss sytem would not give them out ...but she said "this should be fixed in the next day or so and ss tils will be printing them"

I totally agree with everything you said in your post. I too think we should carry on as normal. However, it might be a good idea for peeps to keep to themselves how many times they've repeated a glitch. I don't think HQ will be that bothered about the odd freebie, but will clamp down when a glitch is blatantly abused. Just my 2ps worth!

Reason for asking was Mr BTVB went to use a 250pts voucher with a till spit on the SS till at lunchtime and as he went to scan the pts voucher (before he'd even scanned anything else) the SA appeared like magic and told him that he couldn't use more than one voucher in the same transaction. He then said he'd leave it and check with me to see what I wanted him to do.

On an ENTIRELY different note Have any of you bought any of the Natural Collection gift sets, particularly the silver bag set at £10, the silver and plastic shopping bag set at £15, and the silver purse at £5, all stuffed with Natural Collection stuff. Seen them briefly in the shops, but wonder what you lot think of the quality?
