Has anybody actually got the No7 Compact Mirror to work instore with the GWP as It doesn't work online? The Manicure Set and the Illuminated Mirror work though.

Are you feeling better today, btw, it sounds like you had the nasty virus going about. I had it too and now have a rotten chest infection so no free S&G sets or bargain No7 GWP's for me for a while.:(

sdomeone kindly pointed this out to me yesterday but can't find now, however on line if you add 2 glossy locks and 2 lip & eye screen £5.75 it is putting a GWP in your basket

It's not a patch on the blue taffeta GWP bag that was with No7 last year, is it? It looks pretty on the outside as you say but the lining (which is just very cheap fabric wrapped over a paper stiffener I think) is just glued in round the edges and not very well at that. You can see it peeling away already in the display model in our Boots. And if you look at the pile of stock ones the edges of the outer don't meet well and you can see the lining lumping up through it. Really, it's not a bag at all, or at least not a real bag that you could use as such. It's a cheap fabric covered gift box that's bag shaped.

And the samples inside are pretty well the same old ho-hum stuff. I've still got pink jewelry boxes and various other old GWP that I haven't opened yet so I think I'm going to give this one a miss. I'm not tempted by either the contents or the outer, after all!

Try not to let this put you of boosting, similar happened to me a few weeks back now, where two SA came over and was watching everything I was doing on the SS till and to top it of my sister was with me and said that one of the SA's was looking us up and down as if we were dirt! I can't understand how SA's get away doing things like this, I have been in customer service for years and would never treat anyone in this way, and we are always taught 'the customer is always right' So I am sure boots should follow this policy being a large company.
Anyway this put me off going to this store as this particular SA has been rude on another occasion before, Now I will only go in and buy something if I know the SA isnt on. But on the plus side I have been on boosting trips since and found some lovely SA's that go out of the way to help you.
Also I think that boots employees should be grateful to all of the boosters as while we all bag a bargain - I am sure we all spend a fortune in there on doing so ie trying out glitches etc. I know that I have since finding this thread its very addictable and I never used to go in a boots - but I'm so hooked on trying to figure out a new glitch for everyone on here! So in effect I bet we are all keeping them in a job x (sorry for the long post)
