Choice of regiment

One of my friends is undertaking his 1st stage training. he has been asked to select which regiments of the Royal Artillery would be his 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices. No indications of pluses or minuses of each regiment have been given to him. Is there a website that he could go to that gives details of what the individual regiments do, where they are based and where they are deployed so that he has a better chance of selecting the best regiment for him. I have searched but can't find anything. Thanks
