sky broad band

Hi I am looking into changing bb provider from bt to sky as already have tv and change phone over - can anyone tell what the service is like and of their experiences in changing over from bt to sky ie how long it takes etc
I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.

    Mine went very smooth from bt to sky. I think, it took about 10 - 14 days. Daughter had o2 BB and it took less than a week.

    I changed over to sky from aol,It took 14 days to transfer over and i have found sky to be excellent.

    We're really tempted to move from AOL to SKY. Bit concerned about the hassle concerned. Have been with AOL since we bought computer.
  • if sky have LLUed your exchange (samknows.com) then it is a no-brainer. I am with what I consider to be one of the best IPstream ISPs (you've never heard of them :) ), and certainly the one best suited for my usage, yet I would change to sky/be LLU in a heartbeat if the'y only show an interest in my small exchange

    I am in the same boat.. teh only LLU on my exchange is Talktalk... and I am not into 18 month contracts
    Frustrated in Shropshire....
