I don't have any experience with Amazon myself but going by reports I've read here and on other forums, they are currently dealing with early September orders as most people who have ordered in late August have received them now.

They messed up on the allocation so it's not on a strictly first-come-first-serve basis, as discussed in previous threads here. So you can't rely on the order date to estimate when you'll get yours.

Just got this email from Nu Player as I purchased a PSP game from them last year so I must be on their mailing list but they say they have Xbox 360 premuims in stock and you can either phone up or order them over the internet. They are selling them at £299, don't know why they are not selling them at the RRP of £279 maybe the extra £20 is a bit of extra money making for them.

Don't really know how good the company is as I have only ever ordered 1 item from them but that transaction was good

Just got back from shopping at The Gyle in Edinburgh.
In case anyone local is after xbox 360, Game had 2x core units and 3 premium in and Virgin megastore had 4x premium consoles and 3 core systems.
Seems the shelves are slowly getting them back.
Hope this helps somebody.

The premiums are Japanese, take note.

slowen - Nuplayer are selling the Japanese version (hidden in the item description) so they are still making a decent profit on it. I wouldn't recommend them TBH, they've had mixed reports regarding customer service. They are somewhat overhyped in certain circles A hell of a lot of BS in that email too!

And of course the Japanese version will only play JPN and a small handful of region-free games. It can be had for £250-ish from various foreign sites.
