Has anyone been given a delivery date from Argos only for them to refund your money?
My sister ordered one back in November and was given a delivery date of 5th Dec, of course it never game so phoned and told trying to get different couriers blah blah blah, she has been on the phone loads chasing it up, and was always told it would be delivered before chrsitmas only to be kicked in the teeth two days ago when the woman on the phone said the system says we must refund your money end off.
I seen you could add one to the basket on the 22nd but never bothered as I thought all was well and it was later that day my sister got told about the refund.
This is terrible from Argos, my niece is not going to get what she wanted despite my sister placing he order in good time and Argos even giving her the delivery date.
What can she do, letter to CS, would they do anything other than an oh were really sorry, big demand blah blah , when its all rubbish when people have been able to buy them0 -
Just got premium console for my son today from Woolworths, I had my name on a list and they rang at 10am today to say they had a delivery in and did I still want it, had to collect it within 2 hours or it goes to the next person. Whilst we were collecting it they announce they had X Box 360s and 1 console left. So have one very happy son and husband who are now playing on it.

Thanks to this site I have just managed, to pick up a premium system, now got a spare xbox core system, boxed still sealed, also new wireless controller and memory pack offered to a moneysaver who can pick up from airdrie and pay cash.(from argos)
Cost price only hopefully another kid can have a good christmas.
