Thanks for this one! I phoned John Lewis and told them about the Somerfield offer of £99 for the Dyson DC11. They couldn't believe it was so much cheaper than their price of £269 but agreed to check it. Two days later they offered me the DC11 for £99 with a 5year guarantee and free delivery. Fantastic!

Just out of interest what JL was this ?

Which London High Street did you see this at? and what colour is it?
  • picked the DC11 up today, last one aswell. What a machine, you can see why it cost over £200 so the £99 price is amazing.

I just hope it sucks as good as it lucks.

That telescopic pole defo reminds me of a RPG launcher.

Does anyone know of any DC11's left in Birmingham?

my old ones just packed in and I would be grateful if anyone knows of any Kwik Saves or Somerfields that still have them in stock.

    thanks in advance.

Best advice is go to the Somerfield website and then store locator and ring all your local stores. At least this is what I did and managed to grab a couple.

It was the Newcastle store that matched the Somerfield (Berwick store) price. I asked if I could buy two and they agreed and said they were the last ones in their store.

Hope you can find a store near you that will do the same.

It is a superb machine. Used it on my Mums 3 month old carpet which she vacuums daily with her new Hoover Bagless Upright.........After 15 mins of using it had to empty the cylinders.....completely full of cat hair. Stuff her own cleaner apparently doesnt pick up.

Its an amazing design. Ingenious the way it clips togeether. Managed to get hold of 9 of them throughout Somerfields in Sth Yorkshire!!! All gone now after listing them on Amazon, except the one Ive kept for myself.

    £99 is a superb price.

Yeah, Thanks Kev for making sure that none of the rest of us can get any in your area.

Good of you to consider other forum users in your rush for greed.
