My local Kwik Save had the DC08 for £99 on Christmas Eve.

Thanks for this one! I phoned John Lewis and told them about the Somerfield offer of £99 for the Dyson DC11. They couldn't believe it was so much cheaper than their price of £269 but agreed to check it. Two days later they offered me the DC11 for £99 with a 5year guarantee and free delivery. Fantastic!

what did you use to show them the somerfield price?
cant see the dyson on the somerfield website

I phoned the John Lewis store and gave them the phone number of the Somerfield store, told them how Somerfield were selling the Dyson at £99 and that was sufficient. (Best to find a Somerfield that is selling at that price first!) I did have to chase John Lewis to get back to me because they had so many price match requests to go through but it only took 2 days to get the OK from them. Didn't think they would give the 5 year guarnatee aswell but they did!

Can you maybe tell me a bit more regarding this matter as I did this about a week ago now and got refused totally, they said they couldnt sell at this price!

Can someone post the name and number of a Somerfield store that has these in stock so I can pricematch please? (or if its in the Manchester area just name the store and I'll go and pick it up!)

I picked up a £99 DC11 from Somerfield in County Road Liverpool this afternoon. They had two on the shelf. Kwik Save stores in Stonebridge retail park and on Longmoore lane have both got DC08's for £99 and DC07's for £149.00
