Thanks for that code Lugh - just used it on 31.05.11 - worked fine and the free Q10. Its the best discount I've ever seen for Healthspan. Where did it come from?

I've always been impressed with the very prompt delivery and the packaging. If you order more than one product, they always post them in separate packages that fit through the letterbox. Brilliant!

A member in a post above suggested the company ZipVit as better. I had a look and regarding the products I use:

Cinnamon: Clinical studies recommend 1000mg daily.
* Healthspan cinnamon: Cinnamon Cassia Extract (5:1) 200mg
equivalent to Cinnamon 1,000mg per tablet, 120 Tablets £7.95
* ZipVit cinnamon: per tablet 500 mg cinnamon (= half the dose). 120 tabs £4.49.

So, I'll stick with Healthspan for that.

But, when it comes to Ginger:

* Healthspan ginger: per capsule:
Standardised Ginger Extract (120:1) 100mg
equivalent to Whole Natural Ginger Root 12g
providing Gingerols 15mg. 120 caps for £9.95

BUT it contains Carrageenan, an algae that some studies claim it becomes carcinogenic when it breaks down in the stomach.

* ZipVit ginger: Ginger Extract (40:1) 300 mg equivalent to 12g Ginger root powder, providing 5% or 15mg of Gingerols (the active ingredient). 90 caps for £5.99

So, there are some differences, but the ZipVit one does not use Carrageenan, so I think I'll prefer it, despite that ZipVit charges for delivery: "Carriage, shipping & packing charges on deliveries within the UK are free for orders over £16.99, below which there is a nominal charge of £1." (zipvit.co.uk).
