using PAYG sim in contract phone

I have a phone with an orange contract. Can I use an Orange (or any other) PAYG sim in that phone?

you should be able to...i did it with my o2 phone while still in contract and often switch between the two. HTH

you should be able to use any orange sim but it will need unlocking to use another network.

before you pay to get it unlocked try looking on here for the information to do it your self, lots of the boys/girls on here will help or tell you if you really do need to pay to unlock.

I'd give it a try first - I use an O2 PAYG sim in an old Voda contract phone. Used to be problems cross-using the old (Voda and Cellnet/O2) with the new (Orange and T-Mobile) - think it was a frequency thing, dunno if anything's changed.
