I have a very important announcement...........

DS1 has finished his GCSE coursework -this has been the bane of my life since April - all the nagging seems worthwhile now.

Just a quick visit from me today.

Thank you to the ladies that pointed out how to do the strike throughs. [STRIKE]Cheers[/STRIKE]:T .

At work all day today so no flying, I'll catch up after lunch tomorrow, I finish at 1pm. So 2 hours before I have to go and join the children for gardening club. Then a hectic weekend to-ing and fro-ing to the hospital with my sister.

May try to pop in tomorrow night, if not have a fab weekend all:D .

    Thanks again.

Don't you worry I am already nearly at the bottom of a glass of a fruity little rose and scoffing a family bag of jelly babies - I love jelly babies.

  • Pigpen, I'm so sorry to hear your sad news - my sympathies to you and your husband and family.

Johanne, the best revenge is not just to survive without him but to THRIVE!

Didn't manage to get out of the terminal building today, let alone fly LOL! Still....dramatic pause, cue swelling music, scenes of Deep South and Tara in background, as she smoothes down her crinoline and sweeps her lily-white hand across her brow and says passionately... "Tomorrow - is another day" (Exit Scarlett, aka Menolly, stage left, with Flylady list in her hand).

Hugs and love to you all!

    Evening

so today I am focusing on what I have done rather than than what I havent :D
    • I stayed in bed much longer than I should this morning then has to rush like mad to get to work in time
    • I spent far too much time on the internet looking for caravan sites for the weekend of 15th as the one we wanted to go to is booked up every day between now and Christmas
    • I went out at lunchtime and rather than drive on my own to one town, I went with my colleague in her car to a different one so saved on petrol
    • I bought another part of the kids xmas pressie - Mariokart and a twin docking station for the Wii, was a bit cheaper in Woolies than anywhere else I'd seen it
    • I actually did some work this afternoon calculating how much business my project had generated this year which was about £200k so I was pleased with that
    • Came home and found and booked campsite with OH so we're definitely going now - but have to go straight from work on Friday and back to work on Monday from there:eek:
    • realised at 10 to 6 that DS was out to Tae Kwon Do and needed to be out of the house by 630, so managed to produce sausages in onion gravy with mash and peas by 615 but DD asked if it was instant mash - cheeky mare
    • Decorated mine and DD's fingers nails with little flowers from her new nail decoration set
    • DD unloaded dishwasher and put stuff away
    • I reloaded dishwasher - but I think I forgot to turn it on will check in a min
    • Cleared the kitchen and wiped all the tops down
    • Wiped dining room table
    • Read a magazine
    • Read about the last 10 posts on here so I hope you are all well d coping
Right need to find some caravan stuff - where do you start at this time of the year unless its from a specialist caravan place and you pay over the odds!!!

    Catchya all later
