  • Thanks!

I had signed up for the emails a year or two back and got heartily hacked off after a day or two - I don't doubt it'll be the same this time but I honestly need all the encouragement I can get! In all seriousness, my house is really upsetting me in the state it's in and nobody but me is going to sort it. I hope the emails will stop me procrastinating a little. Or a lot!

I know what you mean, did the same myself - are you subscribed to this thread (do you get the emails saying someone has posted???
If you do, this will do the same for you, you can post if you're feeling fed up, if you fancy a HHC, or if you just need a kick up the @rse!!! we'll help you with all three on here...

Everyone is really great, as you will tell as you go along, so you will fit in fine - just remember those baby steps, a bit at a time and in a couple of weeks you will be flying along (no pun intended) I will leave it to Toots to give you the famous sayings, but she hits the nail right on the head...

    Good luck, see you tomorrow...

Hex and Tag - what extra bits will I need to buy....do I need a remote docking station, will one extra control hand thingy (I know what i'm talking about :rotfl: ) do for now. I've found a package with sports, sonic and a rayman game and a docking station for £214. Is that any good? I've not ordered yet but might do later this week. Any advice appreciated.
That'd be a Wii remote and a nunchuk.
You might want a wheel for Mario Kart - or two..
My two have one. They also have the flipp1n guitar...

Freecyle has gone quiet on me... but one item collected today and 4 collections lined up for tomorrow. I'm half way between two groups, and things definitely go up more quickly on one of them than on the other.

I'm shattered today, so I have no idea how I'll make it through this week. Migraine coming on, so off to take drugs and have a bath.

It did occur to me as I was making my bed, that although I haven't got much flying done this week due to work, since I joined this thread I haven't once gone to bed in an unmade bed - so even when things get difficult it's making a difference.

I can't wait until the utility room is finished... I expect I'll think of more things to do then!

    See you tomorrow!

I haven't got email subscriptions to the thread set up because I think it'll put me off but we'll see how the week goes.

Blimey - I go off to do my planning, get slightly distracted by MOTD and we're on page 3 already!!!!!

I'm in again - am looking round the lounge right now and thinking I need the day (week!!) off work to sort it out :o

Welcome to all the newbies :D

mudbath - I love my Wii (but I am a bit older than 9  ) 2 controllers should be fine (I got my second one in with Wii Play game which made it better value)

vivw - easy? Lounge is my worst room by a mile!!!!

flower - did you mention pegs - co-ordinated pegs? :D;):p

valli - ditto if my mum joins

  • I'm in.... (ish) in spirit if nothing else! Thanks for the list piggers I hope you have a fun night, and a better week this week.

Good luck to everyone that needs it, esp Summer for your busy week. I'm also sending 'kick up the bum' vibes to any slacking OHs! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks for your lovely email toots I think you're spot on, I hadn't replenished my immune system after the last bout of lurgy. Anyway, I'm hoping my lovely GP will sort me out. It wasn't her that prescribed these horrible ABs, it was the old fashioned doc in the practice.

(((((long distance hugs))))))) to all the need or would like them.

And finally big welcome to all newbies. Take it steady, follow the lists, babysteps is the way to go. My feeling about this version of Flylady is.... previously I'd have run myself ragged doing 50 tasks all over the house, with no impact made on anything. I'd be shattered, and nothing looked done. This way, you do 10 or so targeted jobs in one or two areas and you really see a difference to your home. A week or two following the lists and things look so much better.

    Good Luck.
